Blanton’s Gold Edition is a premium single barrel bourbon produced at Buffalo
Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky. Introduced after the Original 93 proof
version, it is bottled at 103 proof (51.5% ABV) .

This bourbon is crafted using Buffalo Trace’s high-rye mash bill, believed to
contain approximately 10–15% rye . Each barrel is aged in the metal-clad
Warehouse H, known for its temperature fluctuations that enhance the aging
process.

On the nose, Blanton’s Gold offers notes of spicy rye and tobacco, followed by
caramel, honey, dark fruit, and citrus . The palate mirrors these aromas,
presenting flavors of rye, tobacco, and honey, with underlying oak and vanilla
leading to a long, harmonious finish.
